Amy Baskin is a Professor of English at Florida State College at Jacksonville. In an attempt to solve the challenge of teaching grammar and basic composition skills for developmental education college students, she designed Grammar Olympics, a carnival-style approach for learning in a non-traditional classroom. Grammar Olympics is an invitation for struggling learners to play, socialize, take risks, seek support, and explore course content while having fun.
